As a manager at SMD, Marie specializes in the areas of accounting and auditing in a range of industries including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, not-for-profit and employee pension plans. Her primary responsibilities include performing and supervising audit, review and compilation engagements.

Prior to joining SMD in February 2006, Marie worked in New York City in public accounting for seven years for two mid-size accounting firms and worked for one year as an accounting manager for a Fortune Global 500 trading company.

Marie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton and is certified in the state of New York.
