Having over 11 years of Accounting and Auditing experience, Sara has had experience in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining Shechtman Marks Devor, she spent a total of five years working for a large communications company where she was an internal auditor and then an accounting manager. As an accounting manager, her duties included preparing the monthly financial reporting packages in accordance with GAAP for management's review as well as constantly evaluating and maintaining internal controls of the system's operations. Prior to that, Sara worked for a major public accounting firm where she audited financial institutions, not-for-profits and employee benefit plans. Sara began her career in banking where she was an Internal Auditor for two major banks.

As a manager in the Litigation Support and Forensic Accounting specialization, Sara performs auditing and accounting research, has participated in the drafting of complaint allegations and accounting research, has participated in the drafting of complaint allegations that involve auditing and accounting issues, and performs document review and analysis.

She graduated suma cum laude in 1994 from Rowan University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
