A manager in the firm's Litigation Support and Forensic Accounting group, Jen works closely with attorneys in the litigation of class-action securities cases involving complex accounting and auditing issues and in other financial statement fraud matters. She provides service to clients in many ways, including assisting counsel in drafting and responding to complaint allegations, accounting and auditing research on issues concerning GAAP and GAAS, the examination of company documents and auditor workpapers, the drafting of expert reports, and assistance in counsel's preparation for depositions and trial.

Prior to joining SMD in 2004, Jen was a senior accountant at a large chemical company, with duties including assisting in the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries, as well as various reporting requirements for its international parent-company. Prior to that, Jen worked as a senior auditor with a Big Five accounting firm, where she performed financial audits, as well as employee benefit plan audits, for private and public corporations, for both emerging growth companies as well as established corporations, in various industries, including manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, software and healthcare.

Jen graduated Summa Cum Laude from Villanova University, with a BS in Accountancy. She obtained her CPA license in 2002. She is a volunteer for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
