Michael concentrates on providing accounting, attestation and tax services. He has extensive experience in these areas and has been involved in all types of services for a wide range of clients.

Although Michael has had exposure to many industries, he has particular expertise in real estate, healthcare, retail, manufacturing and not-for-profit organizations.

Michael leads a group within the firm that is qualified to conduct audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards ("Yellow Book Audits"), as well as with federal and various state single-audit requirements. He also provides support services to insurance companies in connection with bond claim investigations, and to small banks in connection with collateral audits and initial lending inquiries.

Michael graduated from Rider University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree of Commerce in Accounting. Prior to joining SMD in 1987, Michael spent more than ten years with a large national accounting firm.
